It is so hard to find decent pho place in the city, but I found this gem through UberEats and they pleasantly surprised me with how delicious their banh mi and pho are. I have not been to the restaurant in person but would love to, since pho is best eaten piping hot in the restaurant. Service is good, they really prepare and package the food well for traveling, spill-free mostly, and keeping the fillings in the sandwich. I love their grilled chicken banh mi, super tender and juicy grilled dark chicken meat with fresh vegetables and pickled radish/carrots. Both of their beef and chicken pho soup are excellent, I can't pick a favorite, yet again!

Our go to pho place in the city. There are also a couple of other pho locations in the area but we keep coming back to this one. Food is great and authentic. Service is great and super quick too. Really nice for a quick comforting meal. Ambiance is fast casual but has a nice homey feel.

This is my most-visited NY restaurant by a wide margin. I haven't reviewed it for fear of bringing attention to it. I can almost always get a table without a reservation. I believe this is due to the popularity of a serviceable, but hip Vietnamese option nearby. This is the best Banh Mi I have had. I keep trying others, but the bread here is unmatched. I'm told they get it fresh from a bakery in Brooklyn. The spiced pork sausage they use is also perfect. The pho can b from exceptional to greatest of all time. I love this place with all my heart. Almost forgot the rolls! The cha gio are THE BEST. Not just saying that. They are the best in existence (US).

Three years later and honestly... it's gotten EVEN BETTER. The bahn mi SING, and the bread is unreal. The staff are always super friendly and the atmosphere just feels homey. I'd go as far to say this is one of my favorite places to go eat in the whole city. If Hello Saigon has no supporters, then I have passed away.

Food: I went to Saigon on a Saturday night with my boyfriend. I ordered a p3 and he ordered a Vietnamese hot and sour young coconut soup with Shrimp. My pho dish was delicious with plenty of noodles. My boyfriend's bowl was huge and had so many vegetables. The service was great. They made sure we were okay a couple of times. Ambiance: There was a couple of people eating at the restaurant at the same time as us; it wasn't loud making it a pleasant dinner experience.

Nice Vietnamese place catering to NYU students. Pretty quiet with good deals on what I consider to be comfort food.

Great place with good food and good price. These three dishes can around just under $60 with tip and tax. It's a great place to replenish your energy after the New York marathon. Servers are very nice people!

I was so excited to find a Vietnamese place in the area - there aren't many! They have a pretty extensive menu - I usually get the classic pho at any viet place as a benchmark. Their classic pho was $17 and had the eye of round/lean meat, the fatty beef, and beef balls. Sadly it didnt have any tripe or tendon. I will look again next time because I love those! We also got the pork spring rolls, 4 pieces for $8.50 - def recommend, love these hot with the fish sauce. My friend recommended the egg pancake which is HUGE and packed with goodness! The egg is a big crispy serving with seafood (squid, shrimp, crab) stuffed inside. The service was very quick - we had to flag them down to order despite it not being too busy but the food arrived so fast! The space itself is very relaxed - really great for a weekday lunch!
